If you have found your way here, you may be feeling the need to talk to someone in confidence to help you work through whatever life has thrown at you.
Here you will find out who I am, how I work and what I can offer. I understand that taking the first step to finding help can be really scary, so well done for getting this far.
As a therapist, I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your feelings and emotions. I work with you to come out of your head, go into your body and connect with your true self. I work holistically with you looking at a what is going on in your environment as well as what is going on within.
My training is as an integrative counsellor and holistic therapist. What does that mean? It means I have studied several models of counselling and holistic therapies bringing them together. This allows me to adapt to suit you the client as I recognise we are all different and there is no one size fits all. I will explore with you to find out what is the best route in for you to start discovering yourself.
As well as offering counselling sessions, I also offer combined counselling and wellbeing sessions.
About Me
I encourage clients to be honest and brave as I have had to be whilst being on my own path of discovery, which as I have found is continuous. I understand how life can be messy, difficult and a struggle at times, that is why I believe its important for me to be honest about my own vulnerabilities, I would never ask a client to go to a place I haven't been to myself. I practice meditation, mindfulness and yoga as I understand how important self-care is.
My Values
I am open and honest, and encourage my clients to be honest with me. I welcome and try to be inclusive to all regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion and gender. If you ask me something I don't know, I will be honest and say so, I will then go and find the answer. Its important to be honest with each other to enable us to build a trusting relationship, build solid foundations to allow growth and change to happen.
